Dejana, was born in 1989 in Sarajevo. She finished music high school, at the theoretical department, in East Sarajevo. She enrolled at the Music Academy (Sarajevo), where she completed the 1st and 2nd cycle of studies for solo singing.

During her five-year study, she performed in concerts of the Music Academy, and also participated in international competitions for solo singers where she won – the 1st prize at the "Bruna Špiler" in Herceg Novi, and the 3rd prize at the "Petar Konjović" in Belgrade.

During her master's studies, she became an active participant in the master class of prima donna Radmila Bakočević. After graduating, she became an active concert performer in collaboration with professors of the Music Academy (Maja Žuža, MA - piano and Danijela Gazdić, MA - accordion).

With them, she founded the "Trio Demartist" with which she released numerous concert activities.
Also, together with Prof. Danijel Gazdić, MA, she founded the "Duo Lagrimas" (accordion and voice) with which she recorded a CD and performed at concerts. "Duo Lagrimas" premieres and records a cycle of songs by the Banja Luka composer, Dr. Dalibor Đukić.

In addition to active concerts throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dejana also works as a professor of solo singing at a music high school.
