Andjela Bratic (1980), a full time professor at the Faculty of Arts in Nis, winner of the award of the music magazine “Muzika klasika” for the best female performer in 2014. She graduated from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and earned a postgraduate degree from the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz, Germany in the class of prof. Dejan Gavric and received the title of concert soloist. She has performed as a soloist with the Ho Chi Minh Symphony Orchestra (Vietnam), the RTS Symphony Orchestra, the Banja Luka Philharmonic Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra "Symphony Sofia", the Montenegrin Symphony Orchestra, the Symphony Orchestra "Symphony Vidin", Chamber Orchestra Prague, Chamber Orchestra "Symphony di Udine", Nis Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra "Concertante" FU in Nis, Academic Orchestra SKC University of Nis, Chamber Orchestra "Imperio", Chamber Orchestra "New Music", Chamber Orchestra under the leadership of eminent conductors. She has participated in important festivals in the country - Guitar Art, NIMUS, Mokranjčevi dani, Tisin Cvet, Konstantinus, as well as the Bar Chronicle, Days of Music, Espressive, International Chamber Music Festival in Montenegro, Spectrum and Imago in Slovenia and Sarajevo Winter in Bosnia and Herzegovina. She has given solo concerts throughout Europe, Asia and America, and with great success, in 2013, she presented herself to an audience in Washington, DC, a recital at the Kennedy Center. She held master class workshops in Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Italy, Greece, Romania and South Korea. Andjela Bratic is a member of the quartet "Chamber Gang". In 2016, the Faculty of Arts in Nis released her first CD called Fantasy, and in 2020 she released her long CD Inspired by the Flute, on which she performs compositions by Serbian composers.
