From an early age Chryzel developed a love of music and this eventually led to a scholarship at the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines where she achieved a Bachelor of Music Education, specializing in the violin.
Building on the experiences she gained in the Philippines she has since gone on to teach, perform and lead ensembles in some of the premier schools in the United Arab Emirates including Cranleigh School, Brighton College and Nord Anglia International. In addition to violin, Chryzel teaches clarinet, piano and music theory. Many of her students have gone on to achieve internationally recognized accreditation and to perform throughout the world.
Currently Head of Strings in an international music institute in Abu Dhabi she supports other music teachers develop their pedagogy . Chryzel has also performed professionally in the Middle East and Asia as both a soloist and part of an orchestra. She will be completing her Diploma in Teaching through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music when she visits their world-leading music conservatoire based in London, England in December 2022.
