Piano

Marija Shamoska Budjakovski was born in Bitola, where she finished primary and secondary music school. She enrolled at the Faculty of Music in Skopje in the class of famous pianist Prof.Milica Shperovic Ribarski, and she also completes her master studies in the class of the same professor.


Currently, she is piano professor at the State Music School in Bitola. In her pedagogical and professional career with her students, she has won many international and national awards, thanks notes and high results on renowned competitions. Her students regularly take part in

various events, festivals and competitions with great success. Due to her achievements, she was invited as a member of a jury on many national and international piano competitions.


She has participated in many seminars and master classes with famous pianists such as: Makiko Hirata, Marcella Crudelli, Daniela Morelli, Achilles Del Vigne, Andrej Diev, Dang Tai Sean and also attended professional pedagogical training from USAID and EPTA. She held her own seminars and lectures on topics in the field of piano and piano pedagogy as part of the "EPTA Macedonia" piano festival and as part of the cultural program in her country as well as lectures organized by the association "Piano".


Much of her artistic career, she devoted to the chamber music as her passion, and first with her colleague, Andrijana Dukoska - cello, they formed DUO NUOVO, cello and piano.


Currently, she performed in piano trio TRIO DOLCE - Marija Shamoska Budjakovski – piano, Andrijana Dukoska – cello and Svetlana Bogdanoska –flute.


This collaboration in the past 5 years resulted with many successful concerts at various festivals events, competitions and projects.


Marija Shamoska Budjakovski is a co-artistic director of the Association of pianists and music pedagogues “Piano” and also artistic director of International piano competition “Pianofest”-Bitola.
