Martyna Usowicz is a singer, teacher and composer from Poland. A graduate of Bachelor Degree at the Karol Szymanowski Academy of Music in Katowice at the Vocal and Instrumental Faculty, specialization in Vocal and Acting, and a graduate of Master Degree at the Grażyna and Kiejstut Bacewicz Academy of Music in Łódź at the Performing Arts Faculty, specialization in Musical. She has also completed music courses at the University of Montreal, at the Music Department in Montreal, Canada. A scholarship holder of the Liliana Komorowska Fondation Pour Les Arts in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

In 2021, she has founded the ISMI - International Silesian Music Institute to educate new, young talents, to promote Polish and Silesian culture in Poland and abroad, as well as to develop Polish youth not only musically, but also linguistically. Currently, at school, you can learn entertainment and musical singing, as well as playing the piano and playing the classical guitar. The school prepares for ABRSM exams. 


Before, she worked as a master vocal tutor for the Broadway Musical School in Warsaw and prepared her students for the "Kalyani" Musical by Tomasz Godzisz. The world premiere took place in 2019 at the Palladium Theater in Warsaw.


She sang concerts in Poland, Italy, USA and in Canada. She sang in some important polish concert halls like the Silesian Philharmonic or the Łódź Philharmonic. She sang, among others, with the Silesian Chamber Orchestra, the Orchestra of the Silesian Opera and the Jerzy Jarosik Jazz Big Band.

In, 2017 was released a CD of „Missa Jubilae” by Nikolai Kosow, on which Martyna sang the 2nd soprano solo.


She constantly collaborates with the composer Ryszard Gabryś, performing his contemporary music. In 2016, she sang “Good Night" with the Silesian Chamber Orchestra at the Silesian Philharmonic in Katowice, and in 2018 she sang the composer's premiere piece entitled "The night grows in me" and "Kajze mi się podzioł" for the opening of a new concert hall of the Mieczysław Karłowicz Music School in Katowice.


As a teacher, she constantly expands her knowledge and participates in many courses, among others, in International Vocal Seminars organized by the Stowarzyszenie Wokalistów Mix in Gliwice. She is constantly taking vocal lessons in various vocal centers, including the Vocal Balance, London, Great Britain with Julie Gossage. A participant of the Maria Pellegrini masterclass at Maria Pellegrini Vocal Studio in Ottawa, Canada.


She composed music and wrote lyrics of a series of songs for children in Polish and Italian "Music Queen of the Universe".


Martyna Usowicz also graduated from philology studies at the University of Silesia in Katowice, the Institute of Romance Languages ​​and Translation Studies in Sosnowiec, specializing in Italian Translation. A polyglot who is fluent in Polish, English, French and Italian.
