The musical path of Tasoula Vorka starts from her childhood in Nicosia. Since then, she has been taught piano, theory, harmony, history and morphology of Music. She holds a degree in Classical Singing and a grade 8 in Musical Theatre. She has performed roles in the operas "Dido and Aeneas", "Orpheus and Eurydice", "Suor Angelica", "Midsummer Night's Dream", "The Birth of Venus" and has sung arias, both from classical and modern operas and operettas as well as from oratorios. She has played main roles in the musicals "The Sound of Music”, “The Minotaur’s show", "The Little Mermaid", "Mazi", "A Day in December" and has lent her voice to Fiona for the musical "Shrek". She has, also, played in contemporary works of classical and non-classical music and has performed a number of songs in Cyprus, Bulgaria, Italy, Austria, England, Greece, Romania and North Korea.
Tasoula has won the 1st song prize for the Symphonic work of the Cypriot composer Adamos Katsantonis, in North Korea with the North Korean Symphony Orchestra, as well as the Classical Song duet prize in the same country. In May 2021 she won the 1st prize at the Aphrodite Voice Cyprus International Vocal Competition 2021. In March 2022 she has been honored by the European University of Cyprus with the title Dean's List - First Honors for Academic Excellence.
She is a soloist in the Cyprus Opera Organization, under the direction of Tsveta Christoforou and at the same time she collaborates, as a soloist, with the choir "The Voice of Kyrenia", under the direction of the conductor Iakos Dimitriou. She has collaborated with the Athens Simfonietta, under the direction of Giorgos Aravidis and has sung at the Paphos Biennale, during the city's term as European Capital of Culture.
Her collaborations include distinguished personalities, such as the Bulgarian director Plamen Kartalov and the Italian director Paolo Baiocco and the maestros Stefan Boyadzhiev, Alkis Baltas, Giorgos Aravidis, Giorgos Kountouris, Francis Guy, Yiannis Chatziloizou.
She currently teaches vocals at the Future Academy of Arts and continues her singing lessons with the guidance of her mentor Marios Andreou. She is a graduate in "History and Philosophy of Science" from the Kapodistrian University of Athens and holds a Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA)
