IVELJA

Croatia

Born in Zagreb in 1997 in a family of musicians. He started playing the flute at the age of 12. He finished elementary music school at the Elly Bašić Music School (Zagreb) in three years in the class of prof. Danijela Klarić-Mimica. After that, he moved to the class of renowned flutist and pedagogue prof. Ljubiša Jovanović (Belgrade) where he graduated.


He participated in seminars of eminent professors: Renata Penezić, Nataše Paklar, Dejan Gavrić, Marko Zupan and with the celebrated Emmanuel Pahud. He was also a participant in Sir James Galway's masterclass.

So far, he has performed as a soloist in Dubrovnik, Belgrade, Zagreb and Grožnjan (Jeunesse Musicale).


He perfomed twice with the renowned ensemble Zagreb Soloists as a soloist in the famous concert hall "Vatroslav Lisinski" in Zagreb.


He was a finalist in the Croatian selection for the Eurovision Competition for Young Artists.


He won the 1st Prize at the international competition "Davorin Jenko" in Belgrade.


He studied with prof. Gaspar Hoyos in Nancy (France).


He is currently studying at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Tartini- Trieste (Italy) in the class of prof. Pierluigi Maestri.
