Dennis started playing the guitar at the young age of 11. From the time he discovered his passion for music, he has been continually working hard to learn and improve his skills.

Even before he attended formal music classes, he already started playing in bands as a guitarist in school and other community events in the Philippines. After high school, he attended the Conservatory of Music at the University of Sto. Thomas, one of the biggest universities in the Philippines. Simultaneously, he got more projects as lead guitarist in two bands playing regularly in bigger venues with wider audiences. He also contributed as a song writer to one of his bands and released an album played in local radio stations. He also expanded his experience and played in various countries such as Indonesia, Bahrain and the UAE.

His love for music didn't stop in playing but he also got the motivation to share it with others through teaching. He then pursued higher studies and got a Diploma for ABRSM Principles of Instrumental Teaching Guitar and Grade 8 Distinction for Electric Guitar from Trinity Rock n Pop. He was also awarded by ABRSM a Letter of Appreciation – given exclusively to teachers whose students have received a Distinction for ABRSM exam and have performed at the ABRSM High Scorers Concert. He has then been teaching at a number of schools in the UAE and also giving part time lessons.

Overall, Dennis has almost 17 years of experience in playing and teaching music with the same vigor as he had when he started.
