Piano

Guorong Liang, a young pianist and invited artist at Caesars Palace, previously served as a faculty member at the Piano Department of Guangxi Arts Institute.


He has been actively performing on various stages for many years, participating in hundreds of performances of different genres, and holding hundreds of solo and ensemble concerts. His performances have taken him to the United States, Hungary, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and other major cities and regions. In 2016, as a Caesars Palace invited artist, he received a full scholarship to perform at the Baltimore Music Festival in the United States and received guidance from numerous internationally renowned pianists and experts. In 2018, he was invited to perform at the renowned Carnegie Hall in New York City. Additionally, he has collaborated multiple times with the Budapest Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Arts Institute Symphony Orchestra, Guangxi Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Cross-Strait Youth Symphony Orchestra, performing numerous piano concertos.


As a teacher, he has coached numerous students to win top prizes in various international and domestic competitions, such as the IAFM Cologne International Piano Competition, the 7th Padarewski International Piano Competition in the United States, the 10th Chopin International Piano Competition in Romania, the Shenzhen Piano Open Competition, the Shanghai Piano Open Competition, and the Lanzhou Piano Open Competition. He has guided many students to be admitted to major professional institutions worldwide, including the Tchaikovsky Music Academy, the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, and Seoul National University in South Korea. Furthermore, he is regularly invited to serve as a judge at domestic and international professional piano competitions, such as the MAP-IMC International Music Competition, the Excellence Cup International Music Open Competition, the Warsaw International Youth Piano Competition, the Prokofiev International Music Competition, and the Asian Youth Piano Art Festival.
