I graduated from the Bucharest Academy of Music in 1995, the Faculty Composition, Musicology and Music Pedagogy - Music Pedagogy department. At the same time I studied violin with Prof. Octavian Ratiu and Prof. Stefan Gheorghiu. I also graduated from the Academic Choral Conducting department in the class of professors Marin Constantin (founder of Madrigal Chamber Choir) and Gabriel Popescu. I also studied composition with Prof. Dan Dediu.

After finishing my studies I collaborated with the Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company, as editor of the symphonic and chamber music editorial department.

In 1996 I became a full professor at the "Iosif Sava" School of Arts in Bucharest, where, besides my work in the classroom, I was also head of the violin and low strings department between 2003-2005.

At the same time I have given numerous recitals and concerts both in Romania and in Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Belgium. Besides my solo activity I collaborated with the "George Enescu" Philharmonic Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Romanian Radio Broadcasting Company and with orchestras in Spain.

Since 2016 I have been a full professor at the "George Enescu" music college, where I am still working today. My students are winners of numerous national and international competitions.

I was a member of the juries of national and international competitions as well as of national evaluation exams.
