Una Maja Vagner is a violinist in the Stavanger Symphony Orchestra (SSO), where she has also been a soloist. She took her master's degree in violin at the University of Stavanger and her bachelor's degree from the Faculty of Music at the University of Arts in her hometown of Belgrade. Una Maja has also been a soloist in the Belgrade String Orchestra and Academy Symphony Orchestra in Serbia and has had solo performances in Italy, Austria, France, Greece, Israel, Poland and the Czech Republic - in addition to SSO. Maja has won a number of national and international competitions, which meant that her hometown of Belgrade presented her with the "October award of the City of Belgrade for extraordinary results". In 1994, Vagner performed a solo piece in the Vatican in connection with the event "For peace in the world."
