Jasmina graduated from the faculty of Music of Belgrade University and also obtained a Master’s degree in Solo singing in 1996. Also has an academic degree in Slavic languages and literature at faculty of Philology at Belgrade University.


Jasmina’s awards and achievements resulted in admission to the Opera Company of the National theatre in Belgrade, where her career as a signer and performer flourished in the roles of Mimi (La Boheme), Fiordiligi (Cosi fan Onegin), Leonora (II Trovatore). In 2000 she won 2nd prize at the International competition in Italy (1st price was not presented).

In 2002 she became principal soprano of the Belgrade Opera house. The same year was awarded as Singer-of-the-year for the role of Marguerite (Faust).


Jasmina made her international debut in Norway. She also performed in Greece, Italy and Hungary.

After her debut as Aida in Belgrade in 2008, she sang in this role at the Vienna festival.


In 2009 she sang the role of Leonora (Verdi’s La Forza del destino) and got outstanding critiques where the National Opera of Belgrade awarded her as The Opera singer of the year.


Besides singing in opera, Jasmina has also performed in many concert halls all over Serbia and across Europe (Italy, Germany, Greece, France, Great Britain, Portugal, Austria, Russia, Romania, Bulgaria, Denmark and Israel) and collaborated with many conductors.


In 2011, she sang Madam Butterfly in Seoul, South Korea with opera production Pertuzzelli from Bari. In 2013 Jasmina sang Aida in Viminacijum (archaeological site) with conductor maestro Ivan Kozuharov and Francesco Anile, Elia Fabian and was awarded for this role. In 2014, she had a debut as Tosca and after that organisation of music artists awarded her role as the best of the season
