Cypriot soprano Mariza Anastasiades recently received the “Laureate Prize” with the highest score in the category ‘Professional Opera Singers’ at the International Singing Competition Belgrade 2019.
In June 2017 she won the first prize at the International Singing Competition in Budapest, organized by the Danube Symphony Orchestra.
She participated in productions with artists and conductors from Metropolitan Opera, Prague State Opera, Budapest Symphony Orchestra, New York Theater, Kremlin Orchestra, Lamoureux Orchestra Paris, the National Opera of Amsterdam and the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
Soprano Mariza Anastasiades graduated from the Limassol Music Lyceum and studied Classical Song and Opera in Austria and Cyprus, specializing in Italian Bel Canto (MMus, Bmus).
